Orders, prices and payment

You can check and correct your order and details before submission. By using the button expressly indicating an obligation to pay, you place a binding order. We confirm its receipt and contents by email; this confirmation concludes the purchase contract. Changes to an order or agreed date require your agreement. We store the contract electronically and supply its contents on request. Contract languages are Czech, English and German. The seller makes no additional charge for distance communication.

Prices are final, including VAT, in CZK or EUR. Fixed prices in different currencies are not automatic exchange-rate conversions. Goods, discounts, delivery and the total are shown before submission. Only payment methods offered for the specific order apply. Production starts after full payment unless agreed otherwise. The seller issues tax documents in its own invoicing system.

Availability and delivery

Availability is shown for the selected variant. “Within 14 days” means expected dispatch within 14 calendar days of receipt of payment; transit time is additional and depends on the destination. For in-stock goods or other express lead times, the displayed availability applies. Any change to an agreed date will be discussed with you; statutory rights in the event of delay remain unaffected.

Sofa delivery per order: Czech Republic 850 CZK / 34 EUR; Slovakia 1100 CZK / 45 EUR; other available EU destinations 2600 CZK / 107 EUR; United Kingdom 3850 CZK / 158 EUR. Collection is free by arrangement. Delivery of standalone accessories requires a price confirmed before payment. The final order summary is decisive. Imports outside the EU may incur import taxes, duties and local charges; conditions must be clarified before payment.

We recommend documenting visible transport damage and notifying us. The absence of a damage report or notification after 24 hours does not by itself remove statutory consumer rights. Risk passes to consumers on receipt, subject to statutory exceptions.

Consumer withdrawal

Consumers may withdraw from a distance contract without giving a reason within 14 days of receipt. Send notice within that period to info@sofaah.com or the seller’s postal address. You may use the model below or any unequivocal statement. Return goods within 14 days of withdrawal. You are liable only for diminished value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

We refund payments, including the cost of the least expensive standard delivery offered by us, within 14 days of withdrawal, using the original payment method unless another no-cost method is agreed. We may withhold reimbursement until receipt of the goods or evidence of dispatch, unless we have offered collection. Consumers bear direct return costs only if properly informed beforehand; for goods not normally returnable by post, the amount must also be disclosed in advance. Otherwise the seller bears those costs. Please contact us to arrange sofa transport; contact is not a condition for valid withdrawal.

The statutory exception for genuinely personalised goods applies only where its legal requirements are met. Manufacture after ordering or selection of a standard colour does not automatically exclude withdrawal. There is no blanket non-refundable cancellation fee. This section does not apply to purchases in the course of business.

Defective goods

Consumers may report a defect appearing within two years of receipt. A defect appearing within the first year is presumed to have existed at receipt unless incompatible with the nature of the goods or defect. Statutory remedies include repair or replacement, a proportionate price reduction or withdrawal, subject to applicable conditions. Report the defect to the seller; purchase may also be established by means other than a receipt.

We confirm receipt and resolution of the complaint. Consumer complaints, including remedying the defect, are handled within 30 days unless a longer period is expressly agreed and the necessary cooperation is provided. The seller bears reasonably incurred costs of a justified complaint. Normal wear or damage from improper use is excluded; statutory liability for defects remains unaffected.

Personal data and disputes

Data required for the contract and legal obligations are processed under the GDPR, not on the basis of compulsory marketing consent. The website’s privacy information explains retention and your rights. Marketing consent is voluntary and may be withdrawn.

The Czech Trade Inspection Authority provides alternative consumer dispute resolution: coi.gov.cz/informace-o-adr/. Choosing Czech law does not deprive consumers of mandatory protection otherwise applicable in their country of habitual residence.
